What we are about
At CLUBALOHA, we believe in training for health, life and athletic performance.
A great workout can turn a good day into an awesome one.
Training is supposed to challenge you; to build you from your base upwards. Challenges aren't always fun, but our coaches are really nice & incredibly experienced (they make life better), and our community are a bunch of amazing souls (always supportive, never judgemental and always along for the ride).
Our group classes are suitable for all fitness levels. True, some classes are more challenging than others, but if you listen to your body, you get the most out of our classes without burning out, and without plateauing.
Muscle & Cycle Club
Fun fact: we started off as an indoor-cycling studio called Aloha Cycle Club, then later launched Aloha Muscle Club. Now both ‘clubs’ sit under the CLUBALOHA umbrella.
CLUBALOHA is made out of two main "clubs": the Muscle Club and the Cycle Club.
Muscle Club is where we lift weights and build our engine. We have barbells, free weights, gym machines & a variety of cardio equipment. The community that trains here want to get strong, improve their mobility, quality of life, and also train for races & competitions from running comps to HYROX to Redline Fitness Games. We are also a HYROX affiliated gym.
Cycle Club is where we make cardio not feel like cardio, i.e. the minutes melt away through choreography, music & getting in the flow. On the bike, we manage a full-body workout with a focus on the core, lower body and cardiovascular health. We build our aerobic & anaerobic capacity with good music, excellent lighting and a lot of distraction so the pain feels like pleasure. Our coaches are your hype-humans; and they also know how to program an effective cardio workout that burns and energises you in equal measure.
Club Culture
When we say we are inclusive, we really mean it. Fitness is literally for everyone. It's woven into the fabric of your life, to be enjoyed like breakfast, reading a book, or hanging with friends. In fitness, we often achieve things we never thought we were capable of -- that builds confidence and mental resilience.
So whatever your age, gender or fitness level; you have a place here and a class that'll support your fitness goals and help you reach your full potential.
Building Confidence
“Confidence is the willingness to try.” - Mel Robbins.
Nothing changes, nothing changes.
Confidence is the willingness to try.
Confidence is not a feeling — it’s an action.
Confidence grows the moment you try.
The more you try, the more you learn.
The more you try and the more you learn, the less you doubt yourself, because through trying and learning, you’ve become more competent.
That’s called BUILDING CONFIDENCE.
You start from zero, and you build it, brick by brick by brick.
Sikit Sikit Menjadi Bukit.
And we are all for it at CLUBALOHA! Supporting each brick you lay, helping you build confidence in yourself.
Non Runners Run Club
Daylight come and we wanna go run!
We started doing small community events where we’d walk and sometimes run, often times both! Then one day, running became the main event, and the crew became affectionately known as the NON RUNNERS RUN CLUB (though walking is still very much permitted). So here we are: the NRRCs (Nercs), and we’d like to encourage you to START SOMEWHERE.
Our goal is to build your confidence & love for running, one meet-up at a time, no matter where you are in your running adventure. Every meet-up has a running goal whether it’s time, distance or tempo. We are a supportive group, and we’re here to let you know that it’s never too late, and you’re never too slow to start somewhere.
Start somewhere.
Train Hard, Race Easy
Taking the pressure off competition by building your own podium.
The correct way to manage fear is to gradually broaden your comfort zone. - Alex Honnold
Train Hard, Race Easy is a mindset, a subculture, a way of life. Sometimes we’ll share stories, motivations, resources, support; other times we might meet up, show up, train together & race together.
Train Hard, Race Easy (T.H.R.E.) is about training with purpose, for improvement, for progress. For the betterment of your skillset & mindset. To create a beast that doesn’t give up, knows their why, & does it for the love of the game — who then unleashes their all during race day.
T.H.R.E. is about taking the pressure off competition by building your own podium — what is your 1st, 2nd & 3rd goal? The podium equates to your goals that you set for yourself; you train hard to get yourself on that podium you built.
Race day is exploration day. Where we explore how far our training has gotten us and what our limits are.
